For my money I find there’s nothing more attractive when buying office accoutrements than veneer office furniture. Stunningly beautiful book matched walnut and mahogany can never be replaced with printed photographically produced finishes. It is true that these laminates are in many ways tougher and more durable than their older styled true wood counterparts. But a certain element of warmth that is inherent in natural woods can never be substituted for. I have found that with a little bit of careful shopping, and by that I mean shopping online so as to get a better bargain, I can purchase actual wood veneer office desks and shelving at about the same price as one would pay for the cheaper laminated products.
